Extensive fire upgrading works to private secondary school

Project Specifics

School required extensive fire stopping in wall and ceilings and overhaul of existing fire doors in place with no certification
Fire stopping included installation of fire barriers in wall and ceiling cavities with limited access as well and intumescent paint treatment to structural steel.
Structural alternations included additonal escape doors created and infill of mezzanine balconies to create new corridors.
Flooring upgraded and painting and decorating works carried out.
Isolation of electrical distrubion boards for fire compartmenting and insallation of magnetic hold opens on doors.
Works carried out in phases over school breaks.
