Retaining the existing period property façade and roof in its entirety while developing the building into four apartment units for social housing, and commercial units on the ground floor
Complex and significant steel structure implemented to reimagine the structural integrity of the building
Redefining floor areas and floor levels to maximise the space.
DLRCoCo envisaged this project as a showcase for the ‘living above the shop’ potential of existing commercial buildings in the Rathdown Dun Laoghaire area.
