  • Residential floor area 2,500m
  • Commercial floor area 1,100m2
  • Underground car park excavation was carried out under the guidance of a team of archaeologists
  • During construction one of the blocks was redesigned from five storey to seven storey and we co-operated with the design team to keep construction on target during this process
  • Building structure was steel frame with comflor decking and insitu concrete floors
  • External finishes included brick/ blockwork, stone cladding, curtain walling and cedar sheeting
  • The new buildings were constructed adjacent to an existing listed building and public street so sheet piling and underpinning were undertaken to stabilise the building prior to excavation
  • Internal finishes were carried out to a high standard
